1.1 Scope范围

This specification will involve the insulationdesign and material requirements of cold and hot medium for Merck project. The insulation of equipment and piping in all building belong to the applicable scope of the specification. The internal insulation design of piping and equipment for instrument, electrical and ventilating duct is out of the scope. The requirement of package equipment and its piping system will meet the standard of the manufacturer.

Insulation thickness for all Hot and Cold Medium within the Utility Building and the Administration building, including all pipe work running between these buildings are to conform to ASHRAE 90.1-2007 – table 6.8.3.

2 Scope and design principle of insulation

绝热范围和设计原则

2.1 Heat insulation保温

1.Heat insulation, in general, is used for equipment and piping which the operating temperature is 50~850℃, except for the place where heat loss is required. If the amount of heat loss is strictly limited, the insulation is fully used even though operating temperature is lower than 50℃. The insulation is also considered.

保温一般应用在操作温度在50~850℃的设备和管道上,要求有热损失的地方除外。当需要严格限定热损失量时,采用充分保温,即使操作温度低于50℃,也要考虑。

2.External insulation is not required for equipment and piping with refractory or insulationlining, except that the metal temperature must be controlled.

当设备和管道带有耐火材料或保温材料衬里时,不需要外部保温,金属温度必须被控制时除外。

2.2 Scald protection人身防护

The scald protection will be provided for the operating temperature above 60℃, non-insulated equipment and piping in the following areas. The operators may occasionally touch with these areas during operation.

人身防护应用于操作温度在60℃及以上,下述操作区域内不保温的设备和管道上,因操作人员作业时可能会偶然与这些区域接触。

1.Within 2100mm high from ground or floor.

从地面或楼面2100mm高以内。

2.Within 750mm beyond the platform or walkway edge.

超出平台或走道边缘750mm以内的距离。

3. When the heat need to be consumed, the shielding or baffle plate can be used for scald protection.

当需要消耗热量时,护罩或挡板也可用来代替人身防护。

2.3 Cold insulation保冷

The cold insulation is applied for the equipment and piping which operating temperature is lower than 10℃, except for the equipment and piping that heat-absorbing is required.

保冷应用于操作温度低于10℃的设备和管道上,需要吸热的设备和管道除外。

2.4 Anti-condensation防结露

When the operating temperature is higher than 10 but lower than ambient temperature, the moisture condensation of the equipment and piping surface will produce the following harmful effects.

防结露应用于操作温度高于10℃,又低于环境温度时,且设备和管道湿气冷凝表面将产生下述有害影响时。

1.When the condensation and dropping liquid will be harmful for the electrical facilities.

表面冷凝、滴液对电气设施有危害时。

2.When the condensation and dropping liquid will be harmful for some equipments.

表面冷凝、滴液对某些设备有危害时。

3.When the surface condensation makes the staff uncomfortable.

表面冷凝使工作人员不舒服。

2.5 Insulation type绝热类型

3 Material材料

3.1 Index of the material材料选用索引表

Note: The material which touched the surface of austenitic stainless steel should meet the requirement of the standard GBJ126《Codes of construction and acceptance of insulation work for industrial equipment and piping》,and the chlorinity shall not be more than 25ppm.

备注:与奥氏体不锈钢表面接触的隔热材料应符合GBJ126《工业设备及管道绝热工程施工及验收规范》要求,且其氯离子浓度不应超过25ppm。

3.2 Material of insulation layer绝热层材料

3.2.1 General总则

The material need to conform the appointed standard or condign client’s standard. Each technical property of the insulation material and its products must be measured and tested according to the specified method and standard by dedicated measuring organ. In principle, we need consider the following factors:

材料一般应按照指定标准或相当的买方标准,所选用的绝热材料及其制品的各项技术性能应由指定的检测机构按国家规定的标准方法测定,考虑如下因素:

1.The material should be able to bear the medium temperature.

材料应能耐介质温度

2.The material should be not deformation in case of moisture absorption.

材料吸湿后应不变形

3.The surface of equipment and piping should be not corroded by the insulation material.

材料应不腐蚀设备和管道表面

4.The material should be easy to construct.

材料应易于施工

5.The oxygen index of fire retardant cold insulation materials and its products should be not less than 30.

阻燃型保冷材料及其制品的氧指数不应小于30

6.The asbestos material of the containing asbestos are not allowed to use in the project.

不允许使用石棉或含有石棉的保温材料

7.Material shall be Class O rated tested in accordance to BS 476 requirements and as per local guidelines.

材料测试率应依据BS476要求和当地指导方针为0级。

8.Material shall be FM approved.

材料应经FM确认。

9.Material shall be resistance to attack of algae, bacteria, vermin and growth of moles and fungi

保温材料应有抗霉,细菌,寄生虫,鼠疫和真菌等的生长.

10. Pipe insulation shall be non combustible and preferably FM Appproved

在洁净房间材料不应有被禁止释放的有机化合物的气体挥发.

3.2.2 Material of heat insulation in indoor室内保温材料

The application description of the materials for indoor heat insulation and scald protection will be indicated in the table 3.2.1 as follow. And please see the table 3.2.2-1 and 3.2.2-2 for the insulation thickness table.

Note: This fastening material is only for reference in construction. It can be adjusted according to the type of insulation materials. Other assistant materials such as joints and reinforced materials can be selected and used by the contractor according to the characteristic of insulation materials.

备注:该紧固件材料仅供施工中参考,实际使用时可根据绝热材料供货种类进行调整,其它辅助材料如接缝材料及补强材料等,可由承包商根据绝热材料特性选择使用。
